This 13-minute film was made in 2002-2003 by Michael W. Barnard’s son, Morgan. It is an evocative exploration of the process Barnard utilizes to produce his Photofield imagery.
Continuing this cross-generational collaborative process theme, Barnard worked with his other son, Walker, to produce some of the music for the film. Additionally, Barnard references his late father’s photographic work as a major early influence on his life and visual sensibility. Also included are excerpts from Barnard’s early FieldFilm works, which turn out to have had a major influence on the Photofield series.
